Midwestern Hemp Farmers Report a Rough Start in 2019

Many farmers are wrapping up their first year of growing hemp. The 2018 Farm Bill legalized the crop but left regulation up to the states.  While nearly all states have allowed it, there have been a variety of approaches to the rollout of hemp in the Midwest. Harvest Public Media’s Dana Cronin has been talking to some hemp farmers and has this report.
