Health Reform: Hope or Hype?   Date: June 9, 2008
2008 was supposed to be the year Kansas launched an aggressive health reform initiative. So what happened? Health Reporter Bryan Thompson has the story as we continue our series, “Kansas Health: A Prescription for Change”.

Listen:    Listen:

The Health Policy Authority will hold a two-day retreat June 18th and 19th to deconstruct the 2008 legislative session, and to develop a plan for the next three to five years. For more about health reform in Kansas, go to our website, kpr.ku.edu. Just click on the "Health Series" icon. That's kpr.ku.edu.

Funding for the health series on Kansas Public Radio is provided by the Sunflower Foundation of Topeka, and by the Kansas Health Foundation of Wichita.
