| Item Listing | New Ads on Gambling Addiction to Air Across Kansas Date: March 10, 2010 Ads aimed at raising public awareness in Kansas about gambling addictions are airing on 15 television and 33 radio stations across the state. The Kansas Responsible Gambling Alliance unveiled the public service announcements today (WED) during a Statehouse news conference. The alliance also has a new Web site. John Nohe, president of JNA Advertising which produced the pubilc service announcements, said media companies are donating more than $100,000 of air time throughout the year. The alliance's announcement was part of the state's observance of National Problem Gambling Awareness Week. The alliance includes the Kansas Lottery and other state agencies, as well as counselors treating gambling addicts and the Boot Hill casino in Dodge City, which opened in December.
