This week's KPR Presents features former U.S. Poet Laureate and Pulitzer Prize-winner Ted Kooser, from a reading sponsored by the University of Kansas Libraries. We'll also hear the collaborative efforts of Kansas Poet Laureate Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg and singer-songwriter Kelley Hunt, in a reading performed at the Lawrence Public Library.

Collection Agency to Hire Hundreds in Overland Park   Date: March 9, 2010
   A Denver-based collection agency has announced it is expanding in Overland Park and plans to hire 1,200 workers over the next five years. The Kansas City Star reports on its Web site that Regent Asset Management Solutions plans to hire 400 workers within the first year. The company has leased 15,000 square feet in space formerly occupied by the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to offices in Overland Park and its headquarters in Denver, Regent has operations in Las Vegas, Phoenix and Texas.
